Pensieve's Poetic Licence - Spring

This Month's Pensieve's Poetic Licence is about Spring and Haikus. I almost didn't sign up in protest to the North-centric nature of the assignment, but then I thought, "nah, why rain on the their parade?"

So even though it's starting to get pretty cold around here, I'll do my best to remain upbeat about it all, albeit using some lateral thinking....

Suspension is a good thing

Cinquain's World

This month's challenge is to produce a Cinquain whose subject; is 'Celebration', I think the real challenge is to find the definition of cinquain. It seems there are a million of them. I think I'll try a couple and see how I go. All, however, will be about celebration although not necessarily called 'Celebration'.

when all the lights are up,
Christmas Day is very near.
